Thomas Buhler, maître de conférences au laboratoire ThéMA a remporté début août le AESOP Best Published Paper Award 2022 récompensant le meilleur article scientifique européen en urbanisme. Ce prix - décerné par le jury international de l’Association of European Schools of Planning (AESOP) – concerne l’article ″When vagueness is a strategic resource for planning actors″ publié dans la revue Planning Theory.
Le jury a souligné le triple apport de l’article (sur les plans théoriques, méthodologiques et sur la pratique quotidienne de l’urbanisme) : ″ the article’s focus on an omnipresent, but yet relatively underexplored topic in planning; its solid foundation in relevant theoretical literature; and its application of novel, well-justified methods for analysing empirical material. In doing so, the article makes a valuable contribution to both planning theory and practice. ″ (site de l’AESOP)
