ThéMA is a research laboratory specialising in theoretical and quantitative geography. It falls under the auspices of the CNRS, University Bourgogne Europe (Dijon campus) and University Marie & Louis Pasteur (Besançon campus). The laboratory is structured into three research groups: Landscape and Environment, Urbanization, Networks and Mobility, and Territories, Actors, Mediation.
