The landscapes evolve through time and it seem important to understand impacts of urban morphologies on its. The quality of landscape is a factor key to choice the household location, furthermore near urban areas. The goal of my research is to observe the urban development between 1985 and 2010 to evaluate the visual quality of landscape all around the city of Besançon, mainly in urban boundaries, where land use changes very quickly. We can see this phenomenon when urban areas substitute green or agricultural lands, so the landscape knows big changes in few years. The question is to understand which type of urban morphologies impact more or less the visual quality of landscape in specific areas where the changes have been significant through time.
These observations and analyses will permit to have a better organization to develop future urban areas with different visions of a good integration of the city or of a district in green areas. We will try to find a model of urban’s expansion which have less impact on the landscape visibility.
